Issues

There are multiple challenges facing the US Virgin Islands. These challenges include a weak retirement system, high cost of living, slow government response, limited economic opportunities, and too few options for young people. I will create a series of reforms to solve the issues.

GERS Reform

The retirement system must be stable, transparent, and sustainable. My approach is to face the facts, plan for the long term, and protect retirees and public employees.

Cost of Living

Families are being squeezed by rising prices and stagnant wages. My response will support working families and make daily life more affordable.

Government Efficiency

Too many residents face delays, confusion, and poor service. I will encourage the government to be faster, clearer, and more accountable.

Economic Growth

There are too many people that feel left out of opportunities. I will support local businesses and job creation through responsible investment.

Youth & Education

I will support and build the youth’s future. Education programs will be connected to real opportunity.

Key Priorities

Cost of Living

Working toward practical solutions that help families manage everyday expenses.

GERS Stability

Supporting long-term stability and responsible stewardship.

Youth and Education

Investing in schools, training, and opportunity for the next generation.

Economic Development

Encouraging growth that creates jobs and strengthens the local economy.

Government Efficiency‍ ‍

Promoting accountability, transparency, and better service delivery.

Labor Reform

Supporting fair, balanced policies that work for workers and employers.

Accountability: People deserve leaders who take responsibility and deliver honest answers.

Omar BU Henry's campaign supports stronger standards, better oversight, and a culture of public trust.

Public Service: Government should work efficiently and respectfully.

Public service must be focused on people, not politics.

Community Opportunity: Every community should have the chance to grow with dignity and support.

That means investing in people, institutions, and long-term success.

Leadership Reform: We cannot keep protecting broken systems.

We must rebuild them to serve the people with integrity and purpose.

We do not protect broken systems; we rebuild them to serve the people.
